KDC Theatre is a Central London based amateur theatre group dedicated to giving Londoners the chance to put on and perform plays. All ages and experience are welcome and we are always on the look out for new actors, directors, techies, gaffa suppliers and anyone else who wants to get involved.

This website provides more information about how KDC works and how you can get involved. Anyone who wants to get on stage should check out acting. The directing pages explain what we offer for directors and what we ask of them. You can see more about our previous productions in the gallery. Here we have reviews and pictures from some of the shows we have done recently. A noticeboard for events related to KDC and our members can be found at our now section. Our faq contains answers to the most common questions, for those of you who cannot be bothered to read the other parts of the site!

KDC SUMMER SEASON 2008 - Watch this space for our Summer Season information, soon to be revealed!

Get into New Writing! Send us your scripts, but read the guidelines first!

For those interested in directing with KDC, see our Director's Guide (currently in Microsoft Word format). For those who haven't yet seen our Facebook group - here it is!

New Writing
We’re still looking for scripts and directors for our New Writing programme for the round table readings - get inolved all season!

Socials
Ongoing throughout the season are our Thirsty Thursday socials - a chance for old-timers to catch up, newcomers to meet the family, and drinks to be drunk. Kick off is 6.30 at the Glassblower near Piccadilly, in the upstairs bar, but just ask at the bar if you can't find us.

Keep you eyes peeled for new Thirsty Thursday announcements in the summer!

New Writing Roundtable Readings
This is a chance to sit in a pub, read new material and chat openly about it. There will be three nights and two new one act plays a night and it costs nothing to attend or submit. Dates and locations for this season have not been confirmed, but keep an eye out here and on our dates for more information as it arrives.

If you want to submit a play for consideration please contact the New Writing Co-ordinator, Eddie Coleman, on new.writing@kdctheatre.com.
